No one does a dodgy DM slide quite like Scott Disick. First it was his strange attempt to chastise Meghan Barton-Hanson for dumping Eyal Booker on Love Island, a whole three years later, and now, it’s got even wilder: he’s messaging Kourtney Kardashian’s ex to bitch about her.
Yes, really.
Remember Younes Bendjima? The 28-year-old model Kourtney dated on and off from 2016-2020, the couple were famously private with the Kardashian’s strictly forbidden from mentioning Younes on the reality TV show that documents their personal lives.
Well, now he seems to have zero problem with exposing private scandals, posting a direct message Scott sent him this week to his Instagram story. According to the DM, it appears that Scott was trying to engage in a bitching session about the mother of his children, sending Younes a picture of Kourtney with her new partner, Travis Barker, engaged in some heavy PDA.
‘Yo is this chick ok!????’ Scott said. ‘Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.’
Unlike the 38-year-old, Younes took the mature approach, replying: ‘Doesn’t matter to me as long as she’s happy. PS: I ain’t your bro.’ Of course, he then posted it on Instagram with the caption ‘Keep the same energy you had about me publicly, privately’ so… very much school yard drama all around.
Younes did take the opportunity to explain why he’d exposed Scott’s private message though, posting another Instagram Story stating he ‘couldn’t miss this one. He been playing around for too long, tried to stay quiet and be the nice guy.’
And according to social media, everyone is glad he did. Given Scott’s long history of dating 19-year-olds, it seems wildly hypocritical that he would even comment on the appropriateness of Kourtney’s dating decisions. Right now, Scott is dating 19-year-old Amelia Hamlin, having previously spent two years with Sofia Richie following her 19th birthday and in 2017, was spotted cosying up to an 18-year-old model named Lindsay Vrckovnik.
For Scott to even ask whether Kourtney ‘is ok’ for kissing her age-appropriate boyfriend in public then, feels like a projection. But more than that, to try and start some kind of bitter exes club with Younes, bashing a woman that has not once said a bad word about his long history of dating teenagers, is obscene.
In fact, the only time Kourtney has ever had a problem with Scott’s dating life is when he chose to introduce Sofia to their three children without telling her first – a confrontation that was quickly resolved when Scott apologised for going against her wishes.
Clearly though, things have since soured between the pair. With Kourtney so obviously infatuated by her new love, Scott doesn’t seem to be taking it so well. Will they be able to resolve this issue in the therapy sessions they love? Perhaps it’s time to introduce Travis and Amelia into the couple’s sessions, now that’s a KUWTK spin-off we’d love to see.
