Lorraine Kelly Called Donald Trump’s Son ‘A Wanker’ And Became Our Lockdown Hero

Just when you think you can’t love Lorraine Kelly more, she goes and calls Donald Trump Junior a ‘wanker’. That’s right, the beloved daytime TV host went off on Twitter yesterday, sharing a picture of Donald Trump’s son holding an elephant tail he had cut off after slaughtering the animal.

Sharing a petition to ban trophy hunting, one social media user tweeted the picture saying ‘This is the coward Donald Trump Junior just after he’d cut off the tail of an elephant… Boris Johnson is still allowing these people to bring back trophies into the UK.’ The petition has since gained near 700,000 signatures and continues to rise – in no small part thanks to Lorraine’s added value.

Retweeting the post with the beautifully succinct and apt ‘what a wanker’, her post had near 30,000 likes and shares with many offering support – although some surprised by her ‘language’. The truth is though, if you’ve really kept up with Lorraine, you’ll know she’s no stranger to dishing out the harsh truth with a hilarious quip.

Last year, she got so frustrated by an interview with Jennifer Arcuri on Good Morning Britain that when the presenters went to video link to her show she abruptly went ‘That was crazy wasn’t it? What’s the point in coming on and not answering any questions?’ without realising Arcuri was still live in the studio. She subsequently entered into her own hilariously savage debate with Arcuri.
