Kourtney Kardashian and Addison Rae have proven that their friendship is very much still on by posting new images of them lounging around in matching outfits (an aside: we'd be very worried about grass stains in those ensembles). The pair look happy and relaxed in each other's company, which reminded us of the time last year when their friendship attracted criticism for a curious reason: their age gap. There was so much social media hysteria that Grazia's Rhiannon Evans felt compelled to investigate. Here's what she found...
There’s always a lot of discussion (well, opinions) when it comes to age gap relationships – but not usually the platonic side of things. Now it seems Kourtney Kardashian, 41 and Addison Rae, 19, are sparking that conversation.

And the – what about if she were a man-ers…
But while most of us may have friends mostly around our age from school, university and starting out careers together, many women have found richness in their friendships with older women.
Isabella says: ‘I have always tended to have relationships with older men, why would I not have friendships with people from different generations? I have spent time in the past couple of weeks alone with people in their 50s and 60s. One of my best friends is 20 years older than me, and I just never notice the ‘age gap’.
‘Sure, some of our cultural references are different, and we’re poles apart in terms of life stages, but the important things – our values, our sense of humour, our chemistry – are all there.
‘Personally I love having older friends as whatever problem I am going through, they have been there, weathered it, triumphed, got the T-shirt. I don’t seek out friendships according to their age, I just feel lucky to have great friends – older, younger or my own age.’
