New adorable pictures capturing the moment The Cambridge children, George, Charlotte and Louis, met Sir David Attenborough, have been released.
The three pictures were put on instagram late on Saturday evening, but were taken on Thursday as Sir David visited The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in their garden at Kensington Palace.
The caption read: 'The photographs were taken earlier this week in the gardens of Kensington Palace, after The Duke and Sir David attended an outdoor screening of Sir David’s upcoming feature film 🎞️ ‘David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet’.
'With a shared passion for protecting the natural world, they continue to support one another in their missions to tackle some of the biggest environmental challenges our planet faces.
'This includes working together on The @EarthshotPrize 🌍 the most prestigious global environment prize in history – further details of which will be shared in the coming weeks.
'When they met, Sir David gave Prince George a tooth from a giant shark 🦷 the scientific name of which is carcharocles megalodon (‘big tooth’).
'Sir David found the tooth on a family holiday to Malta in the late 1960s, embedded in the island’s soft yellow limestone which was laid down during the Miocene period some 23 million years ago. Carcharocles is believed to have grown to 15 metres in length, which is about twice the length of the Great White, the largest shark alive today.'

The visit had been trailed by an earlier post on the Kensington Royal account. Sir David joined Instagram this week, beating Jennifer Aniston's record for the fastest million followers.
Kate and William have met Sir David several times. At a ceremony last year with Sir David, The Duchess said the children were 'very upset' they couldn't meet him.
A palace aide told The Daily Mail, 'The children are massive fans of Sir David and this was the first time they had met him, although they had always wanted to. So they were absolutely delighted, and you can see from Charlotte's reaction in the picture how excited she was.'
David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet, which the Duke and Sir David watched, will be available on Netflix from 4 October. The pair will also now work together on the Earthshot Prize, a multi-million pound initiative to find 50 solutions to our greatest environmental problems over the next decade.
