Gwyneth Paltrow is all about self-love this Christmas. In a new Goop advert, which Gwyneth herself stars in, the Hollywood actor and wellness mogul gifts herself a vibrator. 'Do something for others, but don't forget about number one - yes, that is a vibrator,’ the narrator explains as Gwyneth cheekily pulls a goop vibrator out of a stocking. 'Gaze into your soul, but also stare into the abyss ... that's joyful too,' the narrator adds.
Fans were quick to applaud Gwyneth’s funny side. ‘God save the queen, I mean, Gwyneth Paltrow,’ one fan wrote, while another added ‘bitch please, Gwyneth Paltrow is more than perfect.’
Goop sells a wealth of sex toy products, including a Betony Vernon ‘pleasure puff ring’ (costing £511), a bedtime flirt spanking ruler, and a Coco de Mer feather tickler – a ‘goop favourite’.
Goop’s must-havegift guide for the festive season recently attracted criticism. Particularly because Gwyneth included a £33 roll of bamboo toilet roll, described as a ‘toilet roll with a conscience’ and made with 100 per cent sustainable material. The rolls are allegedly ‘clog-safe and septic-safe’, with a ‘silky, smooth texture that’s gentle on skin’.
Also on the list are a pair of ‘must have’ £329 24k gold handcuffs. These are ‘exquisite and (almost) escape-proof, they’re accompanied by a set of master keys on a delicate chain,’ according to the goop site. There is also a £43 whip, a £100 garter belt and an online sex class for £35.
And if you're wondering what to get for the person who has everything? Gwyneth has included a lot of her clothing brand, G label, including a red ruffled skirt and matching top which will set you back £432 - or some ski trousers for £517. Or, alternatively, you could invest in a £949 pet jungle gym.
