Chanel is an African grey parrot, who lives in Netherton, Merseyside, and has gone viral after she did what we’d all love to do – and escaped. Her owner posted a series of videos on Facebook, which were then put on Twitter and shared almost 20,000 times (so far…).
Chanel was in her owner’s garden and heard some noises she didn’t like and just flew off – towards the canal. Ah Chanel, we feel you.
But don’t worry, Chanel was found safe and sound. Come on, we all knew we couldn't take any bad news right now.
And there’s even more better news – Chanel’s owner is now on Twitter, and we can all enjoy Chanel and her mum Sandra whenever we want.
