The Sell-Out Aldi Egg Hanging Chair Is Back In Stock This Weekend

Just when you thought you couldn't be more excited about having up to five of your best mates IN YOUR ACTUAL GARDEN from March 29, Aldi step in and announce that they're this weekend bringing back their sell-out egg chair.

You may remember last year, the hanging egg chair (popularised by the likes of Stacey Solomon) became the must-have garden kit (as well as a hot tub) when you weren't able to leave your house.

And the Aldi Specialbuy hanging egg chair, was THE chair. The Specialbuy egg chair sold out in a matter of hours, causing their website to crash. Some unfortunate shoppers were stuck in a virtual queue of 40,000 people at midnight, for hours on end with no success.

This time, the egg chair is back, from 8am on Sunday February 28 online. So get ready to join that queue. Because we're honestly contemplating getting six and sticking them two metres apart for the best ever garden party.

The Specialbuy egg chair will be available as an online only deal - and, as all Specialbuy fans know, once they're gone, they're gone...

The Aldi hanging egg chair comes in at a particularly bargainous £149.99.

The release comes alongside the Aldi garden furniture shop being stocked also with a Dual Fuel BBQ (£149.99). The store says: 'It has the option of a gas burner for convenience, or charcoal grilling for a fuller, richer flavour. It’s equipped with a powder-coated steel frame for durability, wheels for easy movement and spice box, to make creating delicious dishes easier than ever.'

Oh and in case not everyone can fit on a hanging egg chair, this weekend, Aldi are also selling more garden furniture. The Three-Piece Rattan Effect Bistro Set (£149.99) features a steel frame and cushions. Aldi says: 'The set is also easy to store for those with a cosier garden, as the table can be easily stored inside the chairs. To fit a variety of colour schemes, shoppers can choose between light grey rattan with anthracite cushions, anthracite rattan with light grey cushions, or light grey rattan with cream cushions.'
