This weekend, autumn officially began. No, we're not referring to the astronomical autumn defined by the Earth's axis and orbit around the Sun, we're referring to the real start of autumn... you know, the day Stacey Solomon unveils her autumn wonderland door? Exactly.
Posting her ever-lavish door redecoration on Saturday, Stacey has gone bigger than ever this year with ton of faux (and real) pumpkins hidden among orange and red floral arrangements, a massive door wreath and some plastic deers and hedgehogs to match. And given how much time we're set to be spending at home this autumn, many are following suit and creating their own autumn wonderland in their homes.
Including, of course, Stacey's BFF Mrs Hinch. 'Oh my gosh Staaaaace, this is sooo amazing,' she commented on Stacey's Instagram post. 'Makes my art attack heart wreath from last year look shocking, you’ve made me want to get a hedgehog too.'
'Omg YES,' Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson agreed, 'This is so fun!.' So with influencers and followers alike joining on the autumn home revamp train, it seems our Instagram feeds will soon be filled with similarly extra autumn-themed door decorations.
It doesn't have to be unsustainable too, as Stacey shows, the decorations can be kept in your garden looking cute and autumnal all year round before bringing them out for your big door redecoration when the season actually hits. Or, you could do what we all do every Christmas and hide the deccys in your attic, shed, garage or under the bed ready for some much-needed love when September comes around.
So, whether you already have autumn home decorations hidden away from last year or you're starting fresh with a new collection this year, we've scoured the shops for the best seasonal decorations to create your own autumn-themed oasis at home...
