But if the very word ‘sport’ sends you back to the days of skiving cross country then think again, as athleisure can be worn by anyone. Even Swedish bloggers devoted to the minimal aesthetic are swapping clean cut white co-ords for Vetements hoodies and silk track pants.

And no wonder, as sports luxe is a sartorial mash-up - think hoodies thrown over lace slip dresses or bombers and loafers. The fashion rulebook well and truly goes out the window with athleisure.
