Not to alarm you but in just two weeks, it will be December. Whether or not you're an early embracer of Christmas or leave all celebrations until the date has double figures, there's no escaping the fact that we are very nearly in the midst of festive season. One look at Zara's website, however, suggests that there's no nearly about it – Christmas has arrived.

Given our lack of celebrations for Christmas 2020 and the turbulent year we've all endured, this could be one of the most party-filled Decembers yet. To make getting dressed for such occasions easier, Zara has launched a new Partywear section, presenting its best, most glamorous party pieces all in one place. And boy, is it festive.

There are sequins galore – on dresses, crop tops, trousers and even handbags – fringing detail on party tops and flashes of velvet, satin and, naturally, some diamantés thrown in for good measure.

It is, essentially, a party for your wardrobe. Which is. party for you.
