Don’t ask me how to pronounce Zara’s little sister brand Uterque’s name because I’ll likely mumble an incoherent answer. But ask me how much I love what this Spanish powerhouse of a high street shop is doing and you’ll be here all day.
How this store flies under the radar is beyond me, but for the many uninitiated it has all the same trend-encapsulating potential as Zara but much more luxurious fabrications. In other words, it’s a shop worth bookmarking.
On the docket, this week is a pair of black wide-leg trousers, some sandals that if you squint could easily be Jacquemus and a leather shirtdress that perfectly encapsulates everything that’s exciting about the burgeoning trend for caramel tones. I’m also keen on a fringed skirt, which would suit the velvet shirt I’ve added to basket. The earring selection won’t let you down either as the green resin earrings have a charming architectural quality to them.
Here are the 12 pieces I think you should consider before shopping elsewhere.
