At one point in time, the Uniqlo Nylon bag, £14.90 was everywhere. It didn't matter what city, country, or in fact continent you were in, the popular accessory was never too far away thanks to its widespread fame. So, it's no surprise that when Uniqlo released a quilted version of the original Nylon Bag - the internet ran riot.
As far as practical bags go, the brand's newest addition, the Quilted Round Shoulder Bag, £19.90, could be considered an upgrade of the prototype. While size was never an issue with the original Nylon bag, (it could quite literally fit in a whole bottle of rosé), the quilted bag is giving the original a run for its money, with some TikTok users saying it can even fit a laptop. It features a quilted design which makes it look far more expensive than it actually is, and is available in black, off-white, brown and olive.
Since its launch, the quilted shoulder bag has done the rounds on TikTok, and with one quick search, you'll be greeted by hundreds of videos waxing lyrical about the high street bag. Delighted comments include 'Stop!!! I already have two!' and 'I already have Uniqlo's 'it' bag which I love, but it's too small if I'm going to be out all day and need to carry a jumper this one is perfect.'
We suggest you snap up Uniqlo's quilted bag sooner rather than later, because if the nylon bag's wild success is anything to go by, it's bound to sell out - and fast.
