In my many years as a fashion writer, I've seen every shape and shade of denim imaginable. From the classic Levi's I wear every day to COS's Column Straight-Leg Jeans that basically took over the Grazia office last summer. But just when I thought I was finally happy with the tight denim edit I have on heavy rotation, Uniqlo released a pair of jeans that have quickly gone straight to the top of my wishlist. Introducing: the Baggy Curve Jeans.

Drawing inspiration from the nineties and early noughties, Uniqlo's newest pair of jeans is a cool addition to any denimhead's collection. They're cut for a loose fit with a softly curved silhouette reminiscent of the barrel-leg cut. Offering a vintage edge, the Uniqlo jeans are crafted from a cotton and lyocell blend, which makes them less stiff than your usual denim and entirely more comfortable. Ideal for day-to-day errands, they're imbued with a subtle vintage edge, pairing effortlessly with retro kicks and boyish tank tops for the ultimate off-duty outfit. Great news for those in favour of a more laid-back style.

Baggy Curve Jeans - Darker BlueUniqlo

These cool-girl approved jeans are the newest addition to Uniqlo's denim offering. Made in a loose fit, they'll keep you comfortable all day without sacrificing style.

But don't let its casual fit fool you. The jeans can easily be elevated for more polished occasions. Style them with floaty lace blouses that inject boho charm (we're currently obsessed with the joyful designs at Damson Madder). For shoes, anything with a heel will work, like perhaps heeled flip-flops and kitten heel mules approved by the likes of Bella Hadid and Miley Cyrus. As for finishing touches, look to Gucci's SS25 runway for inspiration and add a logo-embellished belt.

As well as being incredibly comfortable for the summer, the baggy silhouette is a fashion-forward staple as well. Emily Ratajkowski has long championed the loose style, and earlier this year, Katie Holmes was spotted running errands in New York City wearing baggy pleat-front jeans.

Shop the alternative shades of the in-demand Uniqlo jeans below, before they fly off the online shelves. Unfortunately, the dark grey version is already out of stock, but we're patiently waiting for its impending restock.

If you'd like a brighter pair of jeans for the summer, opt for the lighter version of the Baggy Curve jeans instead.

If blue denim isnt usually your go-to, consider the dark grey pair that'll go with just about anything you own. Extremely versatile, they'll become your wardrobe workhorse.
