Skims’ Collaboration With Roberto Cavalli Delivers The Glamour Your Summer Wardrobe Deserves

We can't all spend our summer on a yacht in the absurdly photogenic waters of the Amalfi Coast. But thanks to the latest collaboration from Skims – previous partnerships included a collection with Dolce & Gabbana and The North Face – anyone can dress like the 1% when it comes to their swimwear wardrobe. Roberto Cavalli, the label known for its high-octane approach that is distinctly Italian (read: molto glamorous) has opened its archive for the ultimate swim capsule that features the kind of prints that are guaranteed to stop traffic at the pool.

Shot by Nadia Lee Cohen, the campaign sees not just Kim Kardashian but her mum, Kris Jenner, modelling the collection's big cat prints - and they're pretty hard to ignore. Dropping on 27th June, and available in sizes XXS-4X, the retro-tinged, limited-edition capsule features three signature patterns: Fagianella, Light Zebra, and Tiger Face, all of which are heroes of Roberto Cavalli.

As you'd expect from Skims, meanwhile, the capsule doesn't just stop at swimwear, which by the way has everything from triangle bikinis to cut-out bandeau one-pieces to classic scoop-neck swimsuits. No, no. It also extends to printed capri pants, chiffon maxi cover-ups, scarves that can be tied around your hair and sarongs; everything you need for a long, hot summer of fun (whether a yacht is involved or not).

The collaborating partners are very excited about this capsule entering the world. 'To me, Kim is a modern Marilyn Monroe, she is the pop icon, she inspires me so much,' says Fausto Puglisi, creative director of Roberto Cavalli. Kardashian, meanwhile, calls it a 'sexy collection'. She's not wrong.
