After a whirlwind few days at Paris Fashion Week, Sienna Miller is back on home turf. And, whether she planned or not, she's delivered something we all need right now: a rainy day outfit that will look smart even when the forecast is distinctly soggy.
Stepping out last night to watch Cabaret, which is now staring her pal Cara Delevingne, Miller was seen exiting the venue wearing a simple yet effective outfit that is primed for a sudden downpour. For starters, a leather trench coat that she's been repeat-wearing, from specialist denim brand Frame, and a very high-waisted pair of trousers (past season Celine). Finishing off the look with a crew-neck jumper, leather mules (all the better for keeping those hems off the pavement) and high street earrings from Missoma, it was a tour de force in high impact, low effort dressing.
While Miller's outfit might have been top-to-toe designer, bar the earrings, you can probably achieve a similar level of no-muss, no-fuss attitude with pieces that are already hanging in your wardrobe. The crucial element is really the high-waisted trousers and, luckily, it's oh-so-easy to find a sufficiently soaring set on the high street. Oh and don't forget your brolly.
