Sarah Jessica Parker Just Served Us A Real-Life Carrie Bradshaw Moment In Milan

The Fendi Baguette's biggest fictional fan? Carrie Bradshaw. It's almost impossible to forget her response to a rather incompetent mugger who asked her to hand over her bag: 'It's a Bag-uette!' So for last night's show to celebrate its maker's 100th anniversary, who could sit front row apart from her real-life alter-ego, Sarah Jessica Parker?

The Baguette took pride of place in her outfit, a pinky-coral cross-body embellished with square-shaped paillettes. On the catwalk itself, Silvia Venturini Fendi gave the house's most iconic bag a similar treatment, with deletable versions in houndstooth tweed, pearlescent leather and polka-dot shearling, often smattered with beads and disco sequins.

Speaking after the show to Grazia, Parker described what she'd witnessed as, 'absolutely outstanding,' adding: 'Everyone who was fortunate enough to be here tonight, we all feel the same, it's like, I was there for that show. I cannot get over the quality of the work, the tailoring, how inspired it is, how classic it is. Oh it was joyful.'

And Just Like That has just wrapped filming on its third season but, if the actor's reaction is anything to by, expect the next set of costumes to revolve around one very special handbag indeed.
