It's a trope as old as time – you meet the man of your dreams and everything is headed towards a happily ever after, until you try and impress his mom. But somehow, Prime Video's The Girlfriend has managed to supercharge the trope and turn it into a gripping psychological thriller. Adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name, the show stars Robin Wright as art gallerist Laura, who clashes with his son's new girlfriend Cherry, a real estate agent played by Olivia Cooke. The mini-series has everything you'd need in a weekend binge watch: drama, intrigue, class prejudice, a brilliant cast, and most importantly (for us, anyway), an incredible lineup of outfits you'll want to recreate immediately.

Throughout the six-episode run, there are plenty of incredibly polished and honestly just wearable outfits on screen. Wright's Laura leans into the art gallerist persona with a curated selection of blazers, autumn jackets and elegant dresses you could definitely picture wearing to the office, while Cooke's Cherry adds a few casual yet preppy outfits into the mix. I've spotted a brilliant mix of pieces from Ralph Lauren, Hunza G, The Frankie Shop and even Alo Yoga.
Whether you've just started the show and been swayed by Wright's chic white jacket in the opening scene (Ralph Lauren, by the way), or have mentally bookmarked stylish moments to shop later, we've tracked down the exact pieces and high street alternatives for all the best looks from The Girlfriend below. You're welcome.

Laura's camel coat in episode 3 is the kind of easy cold-weather layer that elevates any outfit. While her exact style is unspecified, we've found a similar alternative at H&M. Pair it with her Métier bag in a sleek black shade.

The red wrap dress
Cherry's entrance is marked by a chic red wrap dress from Gauge81, which is now sold out. But we're eyeing this one from Revovle for party season instead.

The workout set
Cherry knows a thing or two about quality workout sets as she attends a spin class in a pink set from Alo Yoga. While the bra is sold out in that exact colour, you can still stock up on plenty of other shades.

The sheer white blouse
Spice up your boring white shirt with notes from Cooke's Cherry, who opted for a sheer blouse from The Frankie Shop in episode 1, styled with a black leather skirt and a Roger Vivier shoulder bag.
