She’s the designer renowned for successful tenures at Chloé and Givenchy, creating Meghan Markle’s wedding dress and producing sell-out collections for Uniqlo (where she’s just been named creative director) but now, Clare Waight Keller has applied her skills to another brand: Reformation. The LA-based label recruited her to design its very first jewellery collection, a limited-edition range packed with vintage-inspired pieces guaranteed to make your accessory game far more impressive.

There are distinct art deco inflections seen in pendants, earrings and a particularly glorious cuff, each crafted from certified recycled 24-karat gold vermeil, 925 sterling silver, and boasting semi-precious stones like pearls and jade. There are dainty hoops for daytime dressing and glittering necklaces for after-dark. The campaign star is Dree Hemingway, captured among the twinkling lights of Paris – the perfect fit for a 1920s-inspired collection that’s all about a modern kind of decadence.

There are versatile pieces, too, like the Coco Mariner belt which can also be worn as a chain necklace, while the large Hemingway earrings, crafted from gold and pearl, are all you need to turn an ordinary outfit into something altogether more dazzling. Prices range from £168-£898, encompassing everyday elegance but also heirloom-worthy jewels which you’ll want to keep – and wear – forever.

Reformation has also designer a capsule collection of clothes for you to wear with your jewels, featuring a new material called Cycora, which the brand describes as a ‘molecularly-regenerated polyester made from clothing that would otherwise end up in the trash.’ It gives all-new meaning to the old adage that one woman’s trash is another’s treasure.
