It hasn't exactly been the right weather for jumpsuits (or the mood, for that matter), but prepare to be swayed by the impossibly chic stylings of Queen Letizia. The Spanish royal, who yesterday was spotted at Madrid's FITUR Tourism Fair, made such a strong case for embracing the all-in-one that we immediately dusted ours off/contemplated buying hers, the £116 Tana Blanco one-piece from The IQ Collection.

The reason this one looks so good - although, to be fair, everything looks pretty sensational on Queen Letizia - is down to its ruffled shoulders and relatively high-waist. Combined, the overall look is playful while somehow still managing to come off as incredibly sharp, which means you could style them with stilettos (as seen on the royal) for work or with soft leather ballet pumps for off-duty.

On 29 March, Queen Letizia visited Fuendetodos, a town in Zaragoza, to celebrate the 275th anniversary of Goya's birthday. She wore a striped sweater from BOSS, one of her go-to designer labels for public appearances, a white blazer, cropped trousers and slingback pumps.

The third outfit she packed on her trip to Andorra, at the end of March, was a little more sombre, but no less polished, with a houndstooth suit jacket layered underneath a black coat and matching scarf to visit a church.

On a visit to Andorra, Queen Letizia packed an old favourite, a wine-coloured dress by Massimo Dutti.

Appearing at the opening of Helga de Alvear Museum in Caceres, Queen Letizia stepped out in a tweed button-down dress from Felipe Varela, accessorising with monochrome accessories and gold hoop earrings.

For a visit to Madrid's National Library, she wore a berry red dress from Massimo Dutti, a coat from Carolina Herrera (which she effortlessly shoulder-robed) and some black-and-red patent pumps from Lodi.

Queen Letizia's BOSS pencil skirt was on sale for £199 but, unsurprisingly, sold out as soon as she was pictured wearing it.

Queen Letizia is just as comfortable in neutrals as she is in jewel-toned colours.

A pearl white trouser suit! Complete with flared trousers! This might be our favourite look yet.

Here Queen Letizia wears her favourite blush tailoring from BOSS. The two-piece has become something of an old-reliable. She wore it earlier this year for a public outing pre-lockdown, and also in December 2019.

Another high street hit, this time a snake-print skirt from Zara.

Queen Letizia has previously worn this outfit with heels to a museum visit. Here we see her style it with a pair of leather flats instead.

Apparently one of her favourite frocks, a scarlet strapless midi dress by Roberto Torretta.

Queen Letizia must have got creative with this number, a strapless bustier from The 2nd Skin Co, by adding extra feathers.

This sleeveless checked blouse is another high street gem, again from Zara.

This Charo Ruiz sunddress is exactly what we'd love to wear on a holiday to the Mediterranean.

This Felipe Varela floor-length velvet gown is appropriately regal.

A fiery orange blouse and an animal-print pencil skirt might sound like a brash pairing, but it 100% worked on Queen Letizia.
