The Hidden Messages Behind Princess Charlotte’s Wimbledon Bracelet

The princess might have just started a new jewellery trend...

While the Wimbledon final brought in its usual wave of A-listers and royals, it was Princess Charlotte who delivered one of the weekend’s most unexpected style moments. Sitting Centre courtside with her brother Prince George, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the ten-year-old royal wore a white dress with navy details, hair tied up neatly in a bow, and - look closely - a silver Pandora bracelet that’s loaded with detail.

Zoom in (we did), and you’ll spot three tiny charms, each more meaningful than the last. First up: a green birthstone charm, which lines up with Charlotte’s birthday in May. Whether she picked it herself or was gifted it, it’s a personal touch that keeps things grounded. Next is a simple silver heart, which appears to be engraved. You can’t make out the message from the photos, but it’s the kind of thing you’d expect to be gifted by a parent or sibling - something with just enough mystery to make it feel special.

Then there’s the standout: a rose gold charm shaped like a lion cub, part of Pandora’s Lion King-inspired range. It adds a playful edge to the stack and feels age appropriate without being too twee. Also, it’s hard not to read into the symbolism - young royal, lion cub… you get the picture.

All together, it’s a subtle but telling style move. No heirloom tiaras or extravagant diamonds - just a well-chosen charm bracelet that feels personal, wearable, and totally accessible. In fact, every piece is still available to buy, which means one thing: Princess Charlotte may have just started a new jewellery trend.

This classic silver snake chain bracelet forms the base of Charlotte’s stack. It features a secure barrel clasp for everyday wear.

A delicate stone in a vivid green hue, symbolising the month of May, Charlotte’s birth month.

Charlotte’s bracelet includes a classic silver heart, engraved with what looks like a personal message or symbol. While the exact engraving isn’t visible, its likely something sentimental.

A rose gold-plated charm featuring a miniature Simba, this piece is part of Pandora’s official Disney x Pandora collaboration. Whimsical yet elegant, it’s a playful nod to possibly Charlotte’s own position.
