I have realised that the key to making any home look better is lighting. Overhead lighting is my (and should be your) nemesis, so I've spent a very long time trying to find the best lamps which don't cost a fortune. In every stylish home I've visited, I've marvelled at the expensive-looking lights which I assume came from a boutique with an unpronounceable name. When I've enquired as to their provenance, however, I'm usually met with the same answer: Pooky.
Not to be confused with the TikTok sensation of the same name (different spelling), Pooky is a British brand which has quickly amassed a loyal following and endless five star reviews, and its consistently used by leading designers all over the world. This is thanks to the wide variety of styles to suit all kinds of home aesthetics, as well as ingenious rechargeable lamps , for both indoors and outside, which are currently trending on Google search.
I've had several Pooky lights in my basket for a while now, so I'm glad there is now a major Black Friday sale offering 15% off everything, or 20% off if you spend £350 or more. This includes the rechargeable styles, which are so useful if you need to create lighting in a space that's without a plug socket.
There are also wall lights, picture lights and table lamps aplenty, so you can furnish every room in your home with these beautiful pieces at an even more affordable price. I have to say, I'm looking forward to all the compliments I'll get when I have friends over.

This lovely little table lamp is cordless, so it can go anywhere you like. The base is 26.5cm high and can be bought without a shade if you need. This particular shade was designed by Morris & Co, although there are lots of colours and prints on offer if this doesn't suit your decor.

Even if you're totally useless at DIY, you'll easily be able to put these in place. You can also choose between an upright or pendant shade, depending on the look you want to achieve.

This elegant lamp looks like you might have found it in a wonderful antique shop. Because no wiring is needed, it's extra-thin for a chic look and, like all Pooky's cordless lights, it's powered by the rechargeable Genesis Cell. All you need to do is decide which shade you want to pair it with.

This square lamp looks especially good on a small side table or on a shelf – all it needs is a short lampshade and Pooky's collection of silk styles are too lovely to refuse.
