Trench coats have long been a wardrobe staple, and this autumn/winter Nobody's Child is bringing a fresh twist to the timeless classic - and one that's already turning heads, too. As autumn's chill (and rain) is beginning to set in, it seems the fashion pack is gravitating towards one trench coat in particular, and with good reason. The Brown Double Breasted Trench Coat, with its clean lines, oversized lapels and flattering shape is set to be the defining outerwear piece of the season, similar to the success of the Mango Fur Coat just about everyone wanted to get their hands on last year. And, if two of London's most stylish women are anything to go by, it's one we should all be adding to our wish lists.

Both Poppy Delevingne and Anaïs Gallagher were spotted sporting the same Nobody's Child trench during London Fashion Week. Delevingne, known for her more polished style, wore the coat closed and paired it with brown open-toe heels, black sunglasses and a black patent bag. Meanwhile Gallagher brought her signature edgy flair by styling the trench with blue jeans and fair isle jumper. Although fashion week tends to be about statement looks, the Nobody's Child trench stood out in its own right, precisely for its versatility.

The design of the trench itself is both classic and contemporary. With its belted waist and slightly oversized fit, it has all the hallmarks of a high-end piece and is the perfect layering piece for colder days. Whether you're simply heading into the office or to an evening event, this trench manages to look put-together and laid-back - exactly what we want from our autumn outerwear.

The neutral trench coat is made from organic cotton and has an oversized (yet flattering) fit. Other great features include its classic collar and cuff detailing, as well as double breasted buttons. Inside the trench is printed with check, which brands are loving this AW as we've seen Sézane's trench sell out with a similar style.

If a neutral trench isn't your style and you prefer something with slightly more colour, Nobody's Child also has a trench coat in a khaki colour. Again, made from organic cotton, it's a coat that's a must-have for this strange in-between period. Throw it on over a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and you're good to go.

Leopard Print Quilted JacketNobody's Child

The appetite for leopard, well, everything, has been absolutely insatiable this summer, and it's not stopping in AW. With black trims and statement patch pockets, it's the kind of jacket that doesn't require much styling thanks to its bold print and oversized design.

It's not just trench coats that are a must-have this season, but quilted coats are also having a moment. The Quilted Longline Jacket features a fabric collar, pockets and buttons down the front. For the ultimate countryside-chic outfit, add a pair of chunky boots and a knitted jumper.

Cream Crew Neck Borg CoatNobody's Child

If you didn't manage to get your hands on the viral Mango borg coat last year, this one from Nobody's Child is extremely similar, made from super-soft cream borg and with a crew neck. To layer the jacket up, underneath add a roll-neck and a pair of denim jeans.
