The H&M designer collaborations read like a who's who of the fashion world, sending a ripple of excitement through the industry as the next announcement draws closer. With a roster of past collaborators including Jimmy Choo, Balmain, Paco Rabanne and Simone Rocha, these are certainly some fabulous shoes to fill. Thankfully, the next H&M designer collaboration is here, and you won’t be disappointed. This time, the high street brand has designed a collection in partnership with Magda Butrym, marking 10 years since the womenswear label launched.

If you’re not familiar with the Polish womenswear label, founder and designer Magda Butrym first launched her eponymous label back in 2015, creating a brand centred around celebrating women and using a floral motif as the cornerstone to each design. The label quickly became known for its fun take on floral prints, creating supersized 3D corsage tops, mini dresses and XXL bejewelled earrings. With the return of the ‘80s already hailed as the key trend for 2025, this collection is certainly on brief, bringing the ‘quiet luxury’ trend to its close.

What will the H&M x Magda Butrym collaboration look like?
Sticking to Magda Butrym’s DNA of beautifully over-the-top womenswear, the collaboration with H&M sees plenty of floral pieces that focus on a red rose print covering skin tight bodysuits, corsage tops (ideal to up the ante on your jeans-and-a-nice-top combo) and beautifully draped jersey dresses; pieces that you’ll actually want to wear. ‘I really see this collection as a chance to invite people into our world – and to celebrate femininity, and the flower,' says Butrym. ‘Each piece brings its own sense of Slavic romance, while paying homage to the history of our brand.’
When does the H&M x Magda Butrym collaboration launch?
The collection is live now (along with H&M's new spring/summer offering) – and it is bound to be a sell out. To help you choose what to buy, Julia Harvey, Grazia's shopping editor, tried on all the best pieces to discover which are worth adding to your basket. Here are her thoughts...

The Jeans

I'm a baggy jeans girl anyway but I have to say this pair is one of the most flattering I've ever tried on thanks to the cleverly placed pleat running down the front. They fit true to size so don't worry about sizing up or down – they look great with just a simple top tucked-in but would work equally well with some of the more statement tops in the collection.

The Sequin Dress

If you'd have told me before I saw the collection in person that one of the first pieces I'd want to try on is the figure-hugging halterneck sequin gown, I would have laughed at you. Such is the beauty of Magda Butrym, though, that she managed to make such a piece feel modern and cool as opposed to making me feel like I'm about to begin my own Las Vegas residency. This fits beautifully (it's way more flattering than I thought it would be) and, given that it's under £200 and a real show-stopper, is perfect for black tie events or super-glam weddings.

The Cropped Tee

An easy but hard working piece, this T-shirt will see you through summer. Pair with high waisted jeans, tailored trousers or even midi skirts. It was one of my favourite pieces in the collection.

The Bomber Jacket

I am going to be lining up to buy this bomber – it's that good. Perfectly oversized, it's exactly the thing I've been looking for to throw over spring outfits when the weather isn't exactly on my side. It's also reversible, so is technically two jackets in one.

The Bodycon Dress

Again, I wouldn't normally be raving about a floral bodycon dress but I actually really liked the fit of this. The ruched detail across the skirt makes it more flattering and gives it a stylish twist, while the turtleneck and long sleeves balance out the tightness of the fabric. You can also pull it down to make it more of a midi.

The Leather Coat

One of the more expensive items in the collection at £479.99, I have to say this is worth the investment. Most leather coats of this quality would usually be upwards of £700, so you're really getting bang for your buck with this. Plus, it's a timeless silhouette and will live in your wardrobe for years to come.

The Bodysuit

I predict that this would very quickly become one of my most-worn items. I loved it with the black trousers from the collection, but would also wear it under jeans and an oversized white shirt. For nights out, I would try it with a column skirt and heels.

The Black Top and Trousers

I fell in love with these trousers as soon as I saw them. They sit on the waist, they have a wide leg and they feel like they were tailored especially for me. When I tried them with this incredible top, however, I was obsessed. This would make for a stunning wedding guest outfit that's something far more interesting that your usual floral dress. In fact, I will be finding excuses to wear this two-piece together, although I'd definitely wear the top with jeans, too.

The Halterneck Top

This top has major Y2K vibes and my teenage self would definitely have longed to wear it. I loved it with the jeans, which gave me just the right mix of dressed up and dressed down – throw the bomber over the top for a versatile weekend outfit.

The Tracksuit

All I really have to say is that I'd like to live in this outfit. Not only is it supremely comfortable, the fit of the top and trousers make it feel more put-together than your average tracksuit, so I didn't feel like I was just in my sweats in public. The hoodie has shoulder pads and a gathered waist, while the joggers have a wide leg fit, making them feel almost like tailored trousers. But comfier. Buy this or regret it.
