When it comes to Katie Holmes, and her wardrobe of winter coats, we're on the record as being very big fans. She might own many, but they all tick certain boxes - classic, comfortable, cosy - and are, above all, weather-appropriate for the bitterly cold winter they're experiencing in New York.
This weekend's was no exception. For a stroll with Emilio Vitolo Jr, Holmes braved the elements in a quilted knee-length puffer that is pretty much everything we're looking for when it comes to a coat. And although she does have expensive taste in outerwear- with Wardrobe NYC, Tove, Nanushka, Ulla Johnson and Dolce & Gabbana hanging on her coat rack - she is a fan of a certain high street shop: Mango.

This weekend's coat was the brand's oversized quilted style, which is still available in all sizes for £89.99. Mango outerwear seems to be something of an open secret among A-listers, and their stylists. Gigi Hadid recently wore one of its oversized checked coats while out and about with her daughter, while Sienna Miller, Lily Collins and Emma Corrin are also paid-up fans. Holmes styled hers with cropped straight-leg jeans, thick socks and some chunky loafers from Vagabond, an outfit combination so effortless and yet cool that it might just give you some motivation to get out of the house this weekend.
