Kate Middleton relied on a high street hit for today's visit to RAF Brize Norton. Arriving this afternoon to meet service members who supported the evacuation efforts from Afghanistan, Middleton chose a double-breasted blazer from Reiss, one of her favourites for easy-to-wear tailoring. The jacket in question is still available in a limited number of sizes for £285.
Middleton styled the blazer with one of her favourite pairs of trousers from Jigsaw, which are sadly sold out, and a handbag in a very similar shade of taupe from Tusting, which is still available to buy for £295. The Duchess is a big fan of wearing a tailored top half with something slightly more casual on the bottom half, straight-leg jeans, for example, or black trousers.
It was a combination she relied on for the World Cup, and on more informal events during her early summer tour of Scotland. If anyone's contemplating the office return, desperately looking for something presentable after a year of wearing sweatpants, consider this an excellent place to start.
