As a master of literal dressing, Kate Middleton was always going to choose something suitably patriotic - without resorting to styling a football shirt with a suit like fellow box member Boris Johnson - to last night's final. Opting for a simple white blazer from Zara, her high street favourite for budget-friendly tailoring, she dialled up the drama (as if there wasn't enough on the pitch) with a pair of beaded red earrings from Blaiz.
As she clapped and clasped her head in her hands, fans were treated to a rather good shot of the £65 pair, which are still available to buy and would make a head-turning addition to any outfit on this summer's wedding circuit. Founder Stephanie Margaronis Mordehachvili established the brand in 2015 as a way to celebrate Latin America. 'The Blaiz woman is confident and inspired by something unique. She wants a piece of the Latin American spirit to circulate around her, and she wants to stand out,' says her website.
Although Zoom-worthy earrings have taken a backseat to beaded necklaces of late, Middleton just made a case for bringing them out of retirement for your next video call.
