We've got you covered (literally).

what to wear outside in winter

Inevitably, the winter school run is upon us, which means de-icing the car each morning and even trudging through the snow. As if it isn't a challenge enough to get the kids out the door on time, winter decides to make it twice as hard for parents and carers. And let's not forget about the after school playground ritual, where you'll be standing in the freezing cold for hours on end.

Most of us are so concentrated on what the kids are wearing - if they'll be warm enough with the 30 layers of clothes we've made them wear, plus the new wooly scarf, hat and gloves you know will go missing in the first week - that we forget to dress ourselves for the cold.

Luckily, we've got you covered. If you haven't yet considered a heated giletor even a throw to have handy when you get home, then think layers – and lots of them. Take a look through our shopping edit below, which will keep you super snug and smug.
