This £69.99 Coat Might Just Be The Best On The High Street Right Now

Few things feel as gloriously indulgent as a brand new winter coat. Normally one of the more expensive items in any wardrobe, it feels like a joy to find a luxurious cover-up that will make any and every outfit you wear feel more polished, more pulled together and generally more interesting. And given that it's the thing you're likely to wear every day during the autumn/winter season, you need to be sure when it comes to buying one.

While there are lots of brilliant coats on offer right now, few offer as much value for money one I've located at H&M. On first glance, one could be forgiven for thinking this coat comes courtesy of a much more expensive label thanks to the perfect oversized fit, the premium look (and feel) of the material and the (crucial) fact that it's lined.

But actually, H&M's coat is only £69.99 – a bargain when you consider how often you might wear it. Clearly, some people have already cottoned on to its brilliance, given that the beige style has already sold out in some sizes. Hopefully, it will come back into stock but, in the meantime, the black version is available in all sizes.

While both quilted coats and aviator jackets are incredibly in-demand at the moment, the beauty of this coat is that it's timeless and practical. It will look just as good five years down the line as it does right now. As we all need to be more sustainable, that's really something to bear in mind.
