We Tried On The Entire New H&M Studio Collection – And It’s Too Good Not To Show You

Just like the previous drops, we know it'll sell out.

When it comes to important dates in the diary, there's our best friend'swedding, a christening and the next H&M Studio drop date, which is, in fact, today. The newly launched refined edit of key pre-fall pieces has just landed online and in some stores. And before we show you exactly how it looks on team Grazia, let us just give you a disclaimer: these particular premium collections have a habit of selling out as soon as they land. With this in mind, don't hesitate when it comes to adding the following items to your online baskets in hopes of managing to be one of the few who get hold of them.

So what can you expect? We've already told you how some lucky fashion insiders got their hands on the H&M Studio buttery soft leather jacket early, showing it off at CPHFW. And finally, the worn-look style is online. Along with the perfect autumn cover-up, there's a ruffle-detail alpaca-blend cardigan that could easily be mistaken as designer, a two-tone denim co-ord that's made us want to live in the Canadian tuxedo and a sheer ruffle-detail lace dress that's made the whole office swoon. With only ten pieces in this carefully curated edit, senior fashion assistant Gavi Weiss and fashion assistant Amber Backhouse headed to H&M HQ to try on the entire collection. And this is exactly what they thought of each piece, tips on how to style it and what to know when it comes to the fit.

Gavi Weiss says: 'One word: wow. The detail on this dress makes it look so premium with the lace, ruffles and asymmetric hemline. I would suggest taking your usual size, and I love how it looks sheer with underwear, but I'll also be styling it over jeans with ballet flats.'

Amber Backhouse says: 'This sheer top is perfect for layering or wearing as a statement piece. I'll be styling it with my favourite bralette and throw on a suede jacket for the ultimate elevated autumn look. This top runs slightly large so I would size down for those looking for a more fitted silhouette.'

H&M Studio Collection Washed-Look Suede Jacket
Price: $379.99

Gavi Weiss says: 'The jacket on every fashion person's wish list is finally here, and I'm obsessed. It's all about wearing a jacket zipped up as a top this season, so I'll be styling this with mini skirts, over dresses and with jeans. It's already quite oversized, so no need to size up with this one.'

Gavi Weiss says: 'You can't go wrong with a black mini skirt, and I enjoy the silhouette of this one. Giving the classic a whole new feel, I'll be wearing it with flat knee-high biker boots when temperatures drop.'

Amber Backhouse says: 'This asymmetrical cardigan is the quirky twist your wardrobe needs. I would wear it with dark wash jeans and some loafers. This cardigan fits true to size, so stick to your usual so it has that more fitted look.

Gavi Weiss says: 'Double denim never fails. The two-tone denim on this top and side split make it feel luxe. Although I enjoy the look of it with jeans, I'll also be adding it to a silky lace-hem slip skirt. If you want a more laidback fit, you could easily size up with this one.'

Gavi Weiss says: 'The silhouette of these jeans is what makes them look so premium. With flats or heels, I know I'll make these my new everyday pair that I wonder how I ever got dressed without. So chic.'

Amber Backhouse says: 'This jumper is super soft and slouchy, perfect for autumn. It's quite oversized so I would say stick to your usual size. When it comes to how to style it, I would pair this knit with some light wash jeans for a casual, cosy everyday look. I also love how it has holes near the elbows so you can wear it tied up with your arms out on warmer days.'

Gavi Weiss says: 'The polo shirt is the style of the season, and while there's so many around, I love the colour and slouchy feel of this one. See how good it looks with the dark jeans? This is exactly how I'll be styling it for autumn, and beyond.'

Amber Backhouse says: 'So chic, and so fun! Try this one with a white T-shirt underneath for a more casual look or add a chunky belt and knee-high boots for the perfect party outfit. The dress runs slightly large so I would definitely size down.'
