While you might turn your nose up at sunglasses until summer rolls around, the truth is, sunglasses aren't just for the warmer months  a fact proven by celebs with their year-round commitment to the accessory, come rain or shine. If you're looking to make a winter statement, or are simply preparing for spring, Linda Farrow's latest collab means you can shop the brand's for lack of a better word iconic, luxury sunglasses starting from just £100 instead of the typical, weighty, £600 mark. Under the direction of Simon Jablon, the brand has previously collaborated with the crème de la crème of the industry, including Jacquemus, Dries Van Noten, The Attico, and is now veering into the high street with COS.

For spring/summer 2025, Linda Farrow and COS' collaboration consists of 11 sunglasses, ranging from cat-eye to aviator. Where Linda Farrow revels in opulence, COS' affordability creates the perfect balance — the result? A refined yet budget-friendly collection that exudes minimalist elegance.

Drawing inspiration from iconic silhouettes of decades past, the collection reimagines vintage influences through a contemporary lens. The Scope Sunglasses, for example, are inspired by the rectangular frames often seen on the likes of Cindy Crawford, that stuck with the minimalism of the decade. Meanwhile, the Daze Sunglasses feature a 90s cat-eye that still feels fresh today, whether paired with an oversized blazer and wide-leg trousers, or a slinky slip dress.

Accessories often oscillate between fleeting trends and enduring classics, and the COS x Linda Farrow collab sits firmly in the latter. This limited-edition drop proves that whether it’s the first rays of spring or the last golden hour of winter, the right sunglasses never go out of season.

Scope Sunglasses - Rectangle COS

The Scope sunglasses are inspired by the slim frames that took the 90s by storm, apparent in their design that makes them look as if they've been plucked from a vintage shop.

Align Sunglasses - AviatorCOS

A bold take on the classic aviator style, the Align sunglasses have chunky tortoiseshell frames and lightly tinted brown lenses. Focus on bringing out the brown tones of the glasses by styling with similar earthy colours, like a thick-knit turtleneck and barrel jeans.

Gleam Sunglasses - SquareCOS

The Gleam sunglasses feature a thinner silhouette compared to some of the other chunkier styles in the capsule collection. With subtle cat-eye flicks and gold-tone wire frames, the Gleam shape is finished with pink gradient lenses and tortoiseshell tips.

Facet Sunglasses - Rectangle COS

A chic pair of octagonal sunglasses can be difficult to come by, but COS x Linda Farrow have created the perfect design. The Facet sunglasses are particularly striking due to their angular thick black frames (the style also comes in a brilliant cherry/maroon colourway too) and smoky brown lenses.

Daze Sunglasses - Cat EyeCOS

If you're on the hunt for a slightly sleeker pair of sunglasses, this Daze pair are the style for you. With a 90s cat-eye and charcoal lenses, these sunnies have a more rounded shape compared to the other angular designs. Style with a retro bomber jacket and baggy jeans.

Vista Sunglasses - AviatorCOS

A second aviator style makes the COS x Linda Farrow collection, this one with deep-brown tinted lenses. Finished with double gold-toned wire frames, the Vista sunnies strike the perfect balance between oversized yet not looking too big for your face.

Skyline Sunglasses - AviatorCOS

A third and final aviator style graces the collection in the form of the Skyline sunglasses, which feature silver wire frames and ombre tinted lenses. Larger than the traditional aviator style, we feel the sunglasses are made to be worn with an equally as oversized outfit.
