If you consider yourself a minimalist when it comes to clothing, we'd assume COS is a top contender when updating your wardrobe. While its pieces don’t chase every fleeting micro-trend, it doesn’t mean the brand’s line-up is lacklustre. In fact, it's a treasure trove of capsule wardrobe staples that are especially reliable and incredibly stylish - pieces that slot seamlessly into any clothing rotation. It's no wonder, then, that the Swedish brand has entered the top 10 of the Lyst Index, the global search platform's quarterly list of the hottest brands in the world of fashion.

As fans will already know, COS is a one-stop shop for both quality basics and more directional pieces that look far more expensive than their price tags suggest. Its dress selection is perfect for those who don’t usually gravitate toward dresses, offering elegant, minimal styles that really take the fuss out of summer dressing. Meanwhile, its trouser lineup is just as versatile, perfect for formal occasions but equally capable of creating that cool, off-duty-model vibe when paired with a baby tee. Hence why I spend an unhealthy amount of time refreshing the new in section; and if you love good-quality staples, I’m guessing you do, too.

For this season, the high street brand has continued to deliver on key wardrobe staples, perfect for the balmy months. Its summer 2025 collection boasts quite the selection of impeccably crafted T-shirts, sophisticated yet flowing summer dresses and of course, refined tailoring – this time in linen. Its Holiday Edit is just as good, if not better. We're talking simple yet striking bikinis, sculpting one pieces and cool crisp shirts and trousers that will form the foundations of your destination wardrobe.

As always, tailored favourites continue to be at the forefront of the new in section, from pencil skirts to waistcoats (they have now released a brand new colour of the cult favourite knitted cotton waistcoat) as well as everything in between. Shop our favourite pieces below, before they sell out.

While it may still be summer, there's nothing stopping you from stocking up on some autumn staples in preparation.

Simply chic, there's always one classic style I revert to during the summer, and that's broderie anglaise.

Traingle scarves continue to triumph for summer. Made from a soft organic cotton blend in an intricate pointelle stitch, this knit scarf will add a touch of sophistication to any casual outfit.

Pendant necklaces have started to become increasingly popular, thanks to their bold charm. We here at Grazia have fallen head over heels for this violet necklace.

Dragon Diffusion tote bags are taking over the style set once again, and this COS tote bag looks incredibly similar thanks to its woven design.

Tailored Pima Cotton Shirtcos

A classic shirt is an essential staple for a summer wardrobe, and this COS iteration is no exception.

Square toe ballet flats have become incredibly popular amongst the fashion pack this year, and this COS pair is a brilliant option, available in a delicious chocolate brown shade.

This billowing bubble hem mini skirt would work well paired with a black tank top and grey cardigan. It's an adorable addition to any exisiting skirt collection and its cotton fabric makes it incredibly comfortable to wear.

These increibly comfortable trousers are perfect for an off-duty outfit that still looks put together.

These crisp trousers work for off-duty and formal occasions, making them one of the most versatile staples you can own in your wardrobe.

Lightweight and breathable, this cotton pencil skirt is as stylish as it is practical, especially while we continue to face the warm weather.

This softly draped midi is a sleek, contemporary addition to any skirt rotation. Extremely comfortable, the skirt is made from fuild modal jersey, which is great fashionable alternative to a stiff, unforgiving denim skirt.

This striking red midi features a gathered twist detail at the waist and is great to keep in mind for your next trip to the Med. Simply add strappy sandals and a raffia bag.

This tailored mini is a great choice if you are looking for a chic dress to add to your outfit rotation for summer (and winter, when styled right).

A linen shirt is a great addition to any warm weather wardrobe rotation, and this rust version is no exception, especially due to its fun half-placket design.

Feminine charm meets undeniable cool girl flavour in this minimalist denim peplum top. Offset the structured silhouette with breezy linen shorts for the summer.

A halterneck dress is one of the most flattering styles out there right now, and this tiered dress is perfect for a holiday abroad.

An oversized T-shirt is an essential for balmy summer days, and this cotton version will keep you cool on the hottest of occasions.

This black knit tank might not scream summer, but it's the perfect staple for a minimalist wardrobe with maximum style impact, especially when styled with linen trousers.

Linen Tie Dresscos

Simple and incredibly wearable, this linen dress will see you from beach to bar in an instant. Plus, it comes with playful tie detailing.

Similar to the viral designs Uniqlo released in collaboration with JW Anderson, this cropped shirt features a blue pinstripe pattern and instantly adds cool points to any outfit.

Broderie Anglaise Shirt Dresscos

Broderie anglaise is the epitome of summer-time dressing, and this shirt dress balances the embroidery's slouchy boho edge with a fuss-free silhouette.

Cotton Maxicos

A classic cool maxi dress is all you need to withstand unbearable heat.

Need we say more? Jelly flats are the ultimate shoe for summer 2025, and this clear pair is as chic as it is nostalgic.

We're loving the Y2K-inspired bangle trend, so naturally we had to spotlight this standout piece from the holiday edit.

This adorable pink maxi checks all the boxes for a holiday essential. It's free-flowing, stylishly tiered, and perfect to throw over a bikini at the beach.

A classic ribbed tank is a non-negotiable for hot days out. Enough said.

Twist details are everywhere right now, featured on dresses especially. But this top brings the trend into everyday wear in an effortlessly chic way.

Fluid Wrap Trouserscos

These wrapped trousers are a contemporary twist on an otherwise traditional wardrobe staple, bringing a fun slant to your formal outfits.

Crossover Sandalscos

Sandal season is now in full force, and we adore this pair from COS, complete with criss-cross detailing.

Pouch bags are among the most versatile accessories – easy to grab and go, and effortless to pair with a variety of outfits.

A classic cotton shirt is a must-have now that temperatures have officially risen.

Culottes are trending – and it’s easy to see why. They’re incredibly comfortable, highlight any shoes you pair them with, and let in a welcome breeze on hot days.

Boat neck tops have taken the fashion pack by storm, so we can see why it has transpired to dresses. This one features a nautical-inspired stripe pattern.

A classic midi skirt is a non-negotiable, and this one comes in a sweet peach colour way.

Another linen shirt for your work wardrobe is always a good idea, and we absolutely love this crisp white option.

This knit waistcoat is a perfect pick if you want a pop of colour and something cosy to keep you warm in an air-conditioned office.
