Terry towelling has quickly become the unsung hero of our warm weather attire. And if you've been opening your wardrobe for the past few hot and sticky mornings thinking, 'I don't have anything cool!', it might just be the heatwave saviour you're looking for.

While terrycloth usually conjures up thoughts of cosy robes and beach towels, the fabric has been redefined this season in the shape of dresses, rompers, two-piece sets and even sandals.
