Kendall Jenner's a fan.

Now that the forecast is looking a little brighter, you might find that yourwinter coat - a near-constant companion since December - has got you a little hot under the collar. What you need is something that will weather the transition from cold to (a little) less cold more smoothly. And to Kendall Jenner, that means a blazer.

And while she - and other tailoring stans including Hailey Bieber, Rihanna, Lily James and Sienna Miller - favour blazers from designer brands like Vetements, Magda Butrym and Gucci, Jenner also knows a high street hit when she sees one. Out and about in LA, the model styled a checked brown blazer with a white tee, shirt and boot-leg jeans combo - and the lynchpin, that blazer, was from Sandro.

Kate Middleton, of course, is a famous fan of the blazers from Zara. The double-breasted red style she wore in Denmark, which had a price tag of £59.99, is just the latest in a string of affordable tailoring outings from the Duchess. Katie Holmes, meanwhile, is a fan of the suiting from Everlane, wearing the brand's checkered two-piece earlier this month.

In fact, cast your eye around your favourite high street shops - and you'll notice that the blazer is definitely having a moment. COS' Deconstructed Blazer, which has strategic slashes down the sides for ventilation during the daily commute, is a beautiful bottle green (a great alternative to black, grey or navy). H&M's Double-Breasted Blazer, meanwhile, oversized and slightly slouchy, would look sharp yet smart-casual over short-sleeved shirts this summer. While the weather's sunny but crisp, take your cue from Jenner, layering up underneath so that you can shed if there's a sudden temperature spike at lunchtime.
