All hail the gold hoop, or chain, or bracelet, or anything gold really. Call me a magpie but I really don't think you can beat a good bit of gold jewellery to finish off an outfit. If, like me, you have a habit of losing things, paying over the odds is simply not an option.

From an everyday earring to a statement chunky chain, a dash of gold makes an ideal outfit partner. It just adds a little je ne sais quoi to an everyday jeans-and-t-shirt combo and completes your going out-out outfit.

If you’re after some gift inspo, you’d be hard pushed to find someone who wouldn’t love a little jewellery to add to their collection. It's an ideal present, in our opinion. And, don’t forget Galentines Day is mere days away now. So why not treat your loved one to a little bit of golden goodness?

It also means that you don’t necessarily have to take it all off in water. While wearing jewellery in the shower this isn’t wholly recommended, it does make things a lot less of a faff. Plus, in an era where hand washing is now more important than ever, this saves taking all your ring ‘n’ things off every time you get to a sink.
