It's happened. The temperatures have plummeted to below zero and leaving the house officially requires Michelin Man-level layering (or a heated gilet at least). If we're being honest, earmuffs are a trend we didn't see making a comeback. Sure, they were a huge hit in the school playground circa 2001 but never in a million years did we imagine that they'd be seen on the head of every It girl, a whole 20 years later.

This isn't the first time we've been shown the style credentials of earmuffs, however. As Charlotte York in Sex and the City, Kristin Davis wore a pair of Burberry earmuffs several times during the course of the show. More recently, they were dusted off from the archives for the second season of And Just Like That... remind us all that they can be, actually, quite chic.
