Shrimps is certainly no stranger to a collaboration, with an impressive roster of brands like Ganni, Warehouse, Habitat, Label, Elemis, and most recently, Reformation - deep breath - proving its clever knack for merging two aesthetics into one. Allbirds may not boast a collaboration portfolio as extensive, but its partnerships have still been impactful, whether it be a dreamy collection with Olivia Rubin or ultra-low carbon shoe with Adidas.
The newest collaboration on the block is Allbirds x Shrimps, which has redesigned Allbird's much-loved hiking shoe to create the Trail Runner Fluff. Think cloud-like merino wool sourced from certified farms, fused with Shrimps' instantly recognisable pearl beads that's nailed the design brief to somehow be both minimalist and maximalist.

SweetFoam is exactly what it says on the tin - a sugarcane-based material that offers all-day cushioned support and a combination of bounce and softness in equal measure. Together, Allbirds x Shrimps have delivered a great winter trainer that's a celebration of both brand's values - sustainability, comfort and design - all wrapped up in a chic monochromatic package. And with its merino wool and pearl accents, its a trainer in which every detail feels cleverly considered. The only drawback is the fact that, like most cult collaborations, it's likely to sell out sooner rather than later.
