Linen trouser season is here. Let me repeat that. The season of the most comfortable, stylish and easy-to-style piece of clothing is here, and I - for one - am elated. If we're playing favourites, the Fresh Linen Trousers. £99 in oatmeal were my first standout. As soon as I slipped them on, they hugged my waist perfectly, and the wide leg finish was the perfect 'just baggy enough' silhouette without swallowing my 5 ft 2 (5 ft 3 on a good day) frame up. The cuff detailing on the trouser also stood out to me, distinguishing it from my other linen trousers.
The Melon Utility Jacket, £119 came in as a close second, the perfect spring jacket to throw on to beat that evening chill, versatile in colour and fit to wear just about everywhere, which is a priority for me when shopping. The more hard-working the piece, the better.
