If you live near an Aldi, you've probably heard the siren call of its Specialbuys. If not, perhaps the supermarket chain's latest offering will convert you: Christmas jumpers. That's right, Aldi is making a play for the 'festive knit' section of your sweater shelf - and, if its jumper's sell-out status is anything to go by, you can expect to see it on one and all this Christmas.
The jumpers, which are part of its winter collection, feature all the festive hallmarks you might expect: Fair Isle patterns, reindeer, snowflakes and jazzy patterns that look just on the right side of retro. The bad news is that only one is still available to buy online, but the good news is that it's probably the jumper with most potential outside Christmas.
The jumper is actually a hoodie - bonus points for cosiness - and, with its monochromatic colour palette and subtle snowflake print - can easily work after the 12 days of Christmas. If you're hell bent on bagging one of the more 'Christmassy' Christmas jumpers, however, eBay should be your first port of call.

Off-White Mania Xmas Jumper, £9.99
There are lots of brand new jumpers available for around double the original pricetag - between £30 - £40 - so if you don't mind being gauged by canny shoppers looking to double their investment, go right ahead. After Lidl's tri-coloured trainers - which sold on resale sites for similarly inflated prices - it's seems to be official: the supermarket is stylish.
