Uniqlo's New Launch Is The Minimalist Swimwear We All Need

We might have had all our sun for the year over the bank holiday, but it’s going to take more than a stiff breeze and a few drizzles to put me off buying new Swimwear. It’s holiday booking season, and if I have to look at endless Instagram’s of people’s holiday countdowns (111 days till Marbella with the girlies- can’t wait for some sun! Gonna go OFF!!) then I will at least endure by buying a new statement swimming costume.

Uniqlo are launching their first swimwear collection, as part of the Uniqlo U collaboration, led by former Hermes designer Christopher Lemaire. Lemaire’s effortlessly chic styles fly off the shelves, and this collection is the coolest swimwear we’ve seen so far. The range comes in four different minimalist styles, and four different statement colours- khaki, black, rust and blood orange red. You can choose from a bandeau or crop top with brief style bottoms, plus two statement costumes, a scoop neck or off the shoulder one piece.

The crop top bikini is very Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, while the scoop neck costume is much more Kendall and Bella Hadid. The best part? You can get Kardashian and co holiday vibes on a budget. The price range is from £12.95 to £29.90 and are available on the 24th of April in-store and online.

Out are the days when you look for the wackiest print for your bikini top, this Summer is the year of minimalist swimwear and Uniqlo are leading the trend with this super chic collection.
