Sydney Sweeney is growing her business empire. The 27-year-old is said to be launching a lingerie line and according to US weekly, she’s not doing it alone: it has the backing of Jess Bezos as a major investor.
‘This has been a huge project for her and something she’s been working on for the last year,’ a source told the outlet. Adding to the intrigue, the insider claimed both Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez, are among the supporters helping bring the brand to life. Now in hindsight, her attendance at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish wedding last month suddenly makes a lot more sense.

According to the publication, the lingerie label is being funded through the Coatue Innovation Fund, a venture capital group that has reportedly received investments from some of the biggest names in tech - including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Dell Technologies’ Michael Dell. The fund is said to have invested a staggering £770 million ($1 billion) into Sweeney’s start-up.

While this may be her first solo fashion line, Sweeney isn’t new to the industry. In 2023, she collaborated with cult swimwear label Frankies Bikinis on a dreamy, Italian summer-inspired capsule that quickly sold out. The Euphoria star is also an ambassador for Laneige and further adding to her resumé, she collaborated with Dr. Squatch to release ’Sydney's Bathwater Bliss’.
