At The SAG Awards 2022, There Were Some Truly Brilliant Red Carpet Looks

At last night's SAG Awards, the stars were out in full force for the first real red carpet awards ceremony in 2022. Lady Gaga wore icy Giorgio Armani Privé; Cynthia Erivo wore red hot Louis Vuitton (as did Squid Game's HoYeon Jung); Selena Gomez wore puff-sleeved Oscar de la Renta.

But it was blue and sunflower yellow - the colours of the flag of Ukraine - that were some of the most dominant colours on the red carpet at an awards ceremony that was overshadowed by the crisis in Eastern Europe. Karen Pittman, wearing Greta Constantine, and Kerry Washington, wearing Celia Kritharioti, both wore bright yellow. Reese Witherspoon Schiaparelli's cocktail dress came with a pale blue sash that trailed along the red carpet. Lisa Ann Walter, meanwhile, pinned a corsage of blue and yellow flowers to her black gown. Greta Lee's Marc Jacobs' jumpsuit - one of the most joyful outfits of the evening - had a yellow top half and patterned blue bottom, while Saniyya Sidney, who wore Zuhair Murad, was in top-to-toe cornflower blue.
