PSA: Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma Creeper Is Back, And It’s Bolder Than Ever Before

Rihanna has had a busy year. After a triumphant return to the stage for an epic Super Bowl performance in February (where she proceeded to win best pregnancy reveal ever), numerous new releases for her lingerie brand and beauty line, plus welcoming her second child in August, it's safe to say her calendar has been packed.

So what's another launch, then? The superstar who can seemingly do it all has just announced another addition to her Fenty x Puma collab, which drops tomorrow in the UK, 1 December at 10am. This time, the brand is tackling a classic silhouette for a second time - the creeper.

Rihanna's partnership with the sportswear giant began back in 2014, when the singer was announced as creative director and a range of trainers designed in collaboration with Puma then followed - which, of course, sold out sharpish - before debuting the ready-to-wear collection during New York Fashion Week in 2016 with a star-studded runway show. The collections have been dropping regularly ever since then, much to the delight of fashion fans.

For the latest release, aptly named the 'Creeper Phatty', everything is bigger, bolder and phatter than ever. Originally released in 2015, the latest design was imagined, designed, and named by Rihanna, taking the classic Creeper to the extreme with an oversized design, a stacked gum sole, and bold pops of colour. We love everything about it. This new twist on the FENTY x PUMA Creeper is available in three colours, plus in adults, kids and toddler sizing.

About the latest launch, RiRi said, 'We took our OG Creeper and made it bigger and badder. When designing the Creeper Phatty, we wanted to reinvent the OG Creeper that was loved by so many. It’s a classic silhouette that has been missed, so its return had to be bigger.'

'The original Creeper changed the game for us,' said Maria Valdes, Chief Product Officer at PUMA. 'We knew it was time to bring it back. This shoe has universal appeal and we’ve seen tremendous consumer excitement for the silhouette to return. We are excited to not only be able to build upon the existing silhouette with the Creeper Phatty but also expand our offering to the entire family.'

When will Rihanna's Fenty x Puma Creepers be available to buy?

The FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty will be available worldwide on puma.com and global retailers, including Foot Locker, from 1 December 2023 at 10am BST. Given the popularity of the 2015 launch, we expect these to fly off the virtual shelves.
