When it comes to searching for latest fashion trends, Instagram is normally our first port of call. Thanks to the social media platform we can see outfits and ideas from around the globe at the tap of a finger. Different trends prove popular at different times in different places, and thanks to a new survey we can now see what is trending where.
Researchers at fashion brand Long Tall Sally have crunched the numbers and identified the top trends in stylish cities across our planet, and their results are pretty enlightening.
In the UK metallic shoes come up trumps with 66,369 hashtags since January of this year. However, over in Tokyo they’re loving berets, Copenhagen has a thing for checked blazers, and our friends in Lagos can’t get enough of off-the-shoulder designs.
In the French capital white tees reign supreme while millennial pink is having a moment in Bangkok.
