Lila was born and raised in London and attended Highgate school. She currently lives in New York where she studies at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in Greenwich Village.

When Lila Moss was a child she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. The model has proudly displayed her insulin monitor in several campaigns including for Versace, Fendi and Zara and said, 'honestly, I’ve come to live with it. It’s kind of fun. I call myself a robot with all my little things.'

She admitted to first learning about diabetes through a 2006 episode of Hannah Montana when Oliver is diagnosed with the condition. 'When Oliver gets diagnosed with diabetes, that was my only insight into it ever. When they told me, I was kind of just like in shock. I was like, I didn’t even know what that means, and then the reality set in of like, you’re gonna have this forever.'
