RIXO's latest collaboration will see the print-focused label of the moment team up with one of their biggest cheerleaders, TV presenter Laura Jackson, for a collection that will be available to shop exclusively at Net-a-Porter from 24th September.
The brand's full collection with Jackson, who can regularly be spotted wearing their trademark hyper-feminine, boldly patterned designs, will be unveiled later this month at RIXO's London Fashion Week presentation (their first on the official show schedule), along with their forthcoming S/S'19 range and their first accessories line.
In an interview with Vogue, co-founders Orlagh McCloskey and Henrietta Rixo revealed that they’d worked with Jackson to create new prints that especially resonated with her, with lemons and shells reflecting a trip to the Amalfi Coast and a surrealist face print inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. Along with dresses, bags and skirts, the line will also include a bag and even a scrunchie. The campaign imagery, which was shot around London, is the work of Jackson's photographer husband, Jon Gorrigan.
Posting a first look photo on her Instagram account, showing her wearing the face print dress from the collaboration, Jackson wrote: 'I am so so excited for everyone to see what I’ve been working on for the past year and I can’t wait to see you all in the pieces! I’ve been a HUGE RIXO fan for many years so this feels very special.'
As RIXO's designers put in it on their official Instagram account, 'all will be revealed soon'; in the mean time, we'll be waiting impatiently for what is surely set to be a sell out collection.
