Lady Louise Windsor has inherited her family's style pedigree. Her mum, Sophie Wessex, has quietly forged a reputation as one of the best dressed royals (see her fondness for Alaïa dresses); and you already know all about her older cousins' wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
And it looks like Lady Louise has been taking notes. From her mum she has learnt the power of a great dress. From Meghan, how sleek all-white can look. From Kate, how to make high-street finds look haute.
At this weekend's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Lady Louise, 18, has been repping affordable dresses that will go the distance in your own wardrobe. At yesterday's Trooping The Colour she woreReiss's £158 cut-out Livia dress, along with a hat previously worn by her mum (she has clearly inherited the family fondness for the high profile rewear).
Today, Lady Louise again turned to the high street. Attending the Platinum Jubilee service of thanksgiving at St. Paul's cathedral she wore Ghost's £179 Grace dress, a slinky satin bias-cut midi inspired by vintage styles.
A label beloved by Kate Middleton, Ghost is a go-to for quality occasion dresses that don't bankrupt you. Although the white version seen on Lady Louise is only available in limited sizes, there are a host of other (dare we say, easier to wear) colours available, that will see you through a summer of events. Consider us influenced, Lady Louise.
