The Duchess of Cambridge is well known for her sustainable approach to shopping. She wears her favourite pieces again and again, whether they're Alexander McQueen gowns or casual clothes she saves for practical outings. Today, she required the latter, as she, along with the Duke of Cambridge, visited a farm in Darlington.
For the occasion, Kate was dressed down in jeans, boots, a jumper and khaki jacket. As she drove a tractor and petted lambs, the Duchess looked entirely comfortable, possibly due to the fact that she was wearing some of her favourite wardrobe staples.
Her boots, for example, are from Penelope Chilvers and, while they're still available for £475, clearly deliver on the cost-per-wear front – Kate has been wearing hers for 17 years, after all. Her jumper, too, is still on sale. Kate first wore the £195 knit, which is the product of a collaboration between Brora and Troy London, during the royal train tour of last year.
The Duchess' khaki jacket, meanwhile, is also something she has worn repeatedly over the years. It comes from Seeland, a Danish brand, and is £189.99. Currently out of stock, keep your eyes peeled for more sizes arriving soon.
