The highly-anticipated day has finally arrived. This morning, Pippa Middleton wed fiancé James Mathews in a small ceremony in Berkshire.
And Pippa gave Giles Deacon the honour of dressing her in a custom-made lace gown, perhaps a sartorial cue from sister Kate’s wedding look in 2011.
But which designer did the Duchess of Cambridge opt for? Kate of course stayed loyal to one of her favourite brands and chose to don Alexander McQueen for her sister’s nuptials.
She wore a pale pink, ankle-skimming dress by Sarah Burton, who also dressed her for own wedding day. She finished the look with an understated fascinator and co-ordinating shoes.
The minimal look was presumably in an effort to distract the attention from her own sartorial choice, as it is, after all, her younger sister’s big day.
