Pippa Middleton Chose This Designer To Make Her Wedding Dress

When it was first announced that Pippa Middleton was engaged to boyfriend James Mathews, there was only one question on our lips. Who will be trusted with the responsibility of designing her wedding dress?

Back in November, we revealed that Giles Deacon was rumoured to have been given the prestigious honour. And it turns out, we were correct.

This morning, Pippa arrived in Berkshire in a lace gown by Giles Deacon. She accessorised the dress with a Stephen Jones veil and Manolo Blahnik ivory satin shoes.

So congrats to Deacon because let's be honest, after reaching global fame following her role as bridesmaid at sister Kate’s nuptials, the pressure to design her wedding gown must have been intimidating.

The Central Saint Martin's alumnus was spotted arriving at Pippa Middleton’s home with some rather intriguing dress bags late last year.

The 47-year-old designer spent over two hours at the London property with Pippa’s mum Carole and Giles’ assistant in tow.

It turns out, Grazia's Fashion Editor Gemma Hayward guessed correctly in the team's predictions.
