What Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney And All The Euphoria Stars Wore On Oscars Night

Ok, sure, the Oscars belong to film (not that they were the main talking point this morning). But at last night’s 94th Academy Awards, the Euphoria cast weren’t about to let you forget about the small screen’s huge style credentials.

The terrible teens of East Highland High were out en masse for Oscars night (alas, no Alexa Demie though - sob) doing what they do best: excellent clothes and indefatigable partying. For Zendaya, not one but two looks. Valentino Haute Couture for the main ceremony, where she put a new-gen twist on Sharon Stone’s iconic 1998 Gap shirt and Vera Wang skirt look. And for the Vanity Fair after-party, a whip-smart, super sharp Sportmax suit with a tie. Top of the class.

Also at both events was your guilty pleasure crush: arch villain Nate Jacobs. Jacob Elordi was serving a masterclass in matinee idol-meets-prom king dash in his Burberry tuxedo. The hoop earring was a nicely rebellious touch.

It was, of course, the after-party where the Euphoria gang really came into their own (they are familiar with staying out too late of course). First up were new couple Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike, making their red-carpet debut. Cute but not cutesy, for her, a Rick Owens tie-dye gown; for him, head-to-toe Saint Laurent. They even managed to coordinate their glam: Schafer’s blue eyeshadow matching Fike’s hair. The couple who glam together are going places.

Also down to party last night? The cast’s emerging style stars: Sydney Sweeney in Miu Miu, Maude Apatow in Saint Laurent and Barbie Ferreira in striped silk Fendi. And – praise be! – there was Angus Cloud, all scrubbed up and a long way from Fez’s sloppy sportswear in his slick Dolce & Gabbana jacquard tuxedo. When he attended New York Fashion Week in September, the sight of him eating Cheetos front row at the sent the internet into meltdown mode. Let’s hope he got some snacks at the party and if he did, we demand to see the pics.
